A leftover tradition that started with my mom is the leftover turkey sandwich. Unfortunately, I do not have a recipe to share with you for this sandwich but it’s pretty simple to make. Take two pieces of bread and load them with turkey and/or ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole and then enjoy. I like to put a little mayo on my sandwich. Ok, maybe a lot of mayo. I’m in love with mayo. What can I say?

Great great recipes. The best thing about leftovers are they are so full of flavor and we don’t have to do much but it turns out great as something else too.
I can can’t wait for next week. Thanks for some fantastic ideas.

I find that you can get very creative with left over turkey from sandwiches and wraps to casseroles and pot pies. I put together 2 Weeks of Amazing Holiday Turkey Leftovers Recipes to give you inspiration for your leftover holidays food.
