Weekly Recap 6/15/13

Good morning and Happy Saturday! How was your week?

WEEKLYRECAP

My week was pretty busy. Work was busy. Keeping up with the blog kept me busy. School kept me busy.

On Monday I found out that I get to go to Atlanta for a few days in August. Why do I get to go to Atlanta? Training! It’s always fun to visit new places. Well, I wouldn’t say that Atlanta is a new place to me. I’ve been there before but it was when I was a kid so I don’t remember too much of it. After training each day, I plan to do a little exploring. I might as well take advantage of my time there, right?

One thing that I am not looking forward to on this trip is flying. I’ve never been a fan of flying. I haven’t flown since early 2002. I’d like to keep it that way but sometimes situations arise and you have to do things you’d rather not do. So I’ll just have to suck it up and deal with my anxiety over having to fly. Do you have a fear of flying?

If you missed any of this week’s posts, have no fear. You can catch up here!

  1. Have a great time in Atlanta!
Your recipe features look great! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I am on the opposite end of the spectrum since I have flown so much I actually burned out on it for a while! But I do love it because I just like to just get where I am going. You will do great – and you’ll be fine! Take some recipe inspiration and your laptop and just create some good eats ideas {or printables – lol} and you’ll be in Atlanta before you know it!!
    xoxo

    • Ha, I wish I was like that. I’ve only flown a handful of times in my life. Most of those times were when I was a kid. I flew once when I was 16 and once when I was 20. Well, I guess I flew twice during those ages because I flew to my destination and back!

Thanks for the kind words, Claire! I am trying not to get too anxious about it. I’m one of those silly people who gets anxious thinking about it even when I don’t have to fly. LOL

  3. I’ve never been but would love to go. This message appears under the comment luv message box: “It appears that you are offline or another error occured contacting the API url, have you set it to use www or missed the www off the api url?? check the technical settings and add or remove www from the api url.”

    • Hi Shiloh! Thanks for stopping by. I’m not sure why that is popping up. But I have seen it happen on other sites. I think it is probably an issue with the Comment Love widget. Thanks!

  4. Have fun in Atlanta! I don’t have a fear of flying, I just hate traveling. It takes a toll on my body. Everything looks delicious here! I especially dig the Blueberry Coffee Cake Muffins. :) Have a lovely week Julie.
