Casseroles and the Country Crock Stars Contest

Casseroles. They’re a wonderful thing. Not only do they taste wonderful, they make meal time easy for busy gals like myself. I love to throw together a casserole on a Sunday evening because I end up having leftovers for part of the week which means I don’t have to prepare dinner after a long day at work.

What are some of your favorite casserole recipes? Well, I’ll tell you a couple of mine. Shepherds Pie and Chicken Tetrazzini. Who can resist ground, seasoned meat topped with mashed potatoes and cheese? Who can resist noodles dressed in a creamy mushroom sauce with chicken, topped with sliced almonds? I sure can’t.

You know what else I can’t resist? Country Crock. I love to spread it on hot dinner rolls and toast. But I also like to cook with it. In fact, I made Chicken Tetrazzini with Country Crock rather than butter and sometimes when I make mashed potatoes, I use Country Crock rather than butter. Just think, all of your favorite casserole dishes can be made with Country Crock rather than butter. Just sub the butter with equal amounts of Country Crock! Want to check out the next recipe I think I will make with Country Crock? Check out this video for Sweet Potato Praline Bake. It uses Country Crock Pumpkin Spice Spread!

Do you have a favorite casserole that you love to make? Sure you do! Right now, Country Crock is hosting a fantastic Country Crock Stars Contest.
